Activities and Family Activities in Germany

The popularity of some sports also changes during the year. As most lakes freeze during winter, ice skating is more popular in winter, whereas in summer all Berliners pilgrimage to the local lakes.
Outdoor activities may not be the first thing you think about in context with Berlin but in summer this metropolis’ parks, unique green areas and the Spree are the perfect backdrop for some outdoor fun. You can also take a walking or bicycle tour and marvel at the vast historical, architectural and natural sights. If you tend to enjoy what UNESCO names World Heritage sites, don't miss Museum Island.
